The days of hustle and bustle between FIL pavilions are already behind. The Web Summit is over, but the work continues. The Business spoke with nine start-ups that were in the event to realize what was left of the contest. And one thing seems certain: they had many contacts in their pockets.
BuyinPortugal - Visibility and contacts
BuyinPortugal is a platform that aims to help small domestic companies export - a kind of Alibaba. The start-up was at the Web Summit not to attract investment, but to achieve "visibility and international contacts that help us to be known abroad." Ricardo Wallis also points out that he had "enough interesting contacts, several businessmen proposed to do the same business that we have in their countries, but we are still negotiating the partnerships".
