VARIETIES: Moscatel

HARVEST: Late September

ORIGIN: Vineyards in Fernando Pó, Palmela

SOIL: Sandy

CLIMATE: Mediterranean

VINIFICATION: Fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature controlled to a density of 1090, followed by the addition of 77% vol. spirit distilled from wine, and extended maceration that lasts until March of the following year. Matured for 18 months in oak half barrels.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE TIME: 15 years

ALCOHOLIC CONTENT 17.5% vol.

TOTAL ACIDITY: 4.25 g tartaric acid/dm3

PH: 3.45

RESIDUAL SUGAR: 125 g/dm3

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Good with traditional Portuguese pastry, as well as a solo appetizer or digestif.
