TASTING NOTES – Grenadine colored wine, concentrated. Aroma very well integrated with the oak, rich in mature red and black fruit with some spicy notes and pepper. In the mouth is full bodied and smooth, rich in good quality tannins very well integrated. Long, pleasant and persistent after taste.

VARIETY – 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Touriga Nacional and 30% Syrah.

VINTAGE – End of September.

ORIGIN – Vineyards located in Fernando Pó a privileged area in Palmela region.

SOIL – Sand and sandy stone pozolitic.

CLIMATE – Continental Mediterranean.

VINIFICATION – Fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature, followed by long pelicular maceration. 12 months resting in French and American oak half barrels.

MAXIMUM KEEPING TIME – 8 years (recommended).

ALCOHOLIC CONTENT – 14,5% vol.

TOTAL ACIDITY – 5,26 g tartaric acid/dm3

PH – 3,58

RESIDUAL SUGAR – 5,0 g/dm3

DRINKING TEMPERATURE – 16-18 ºC.

OENOLOGIST – Jaime Quendera.
